It's as though all of the words worth using have been used up on stupid things - advertisements and magazines and television. What's the point of any of it?

hexed private, although poorly -- [edit; properly done now] )

Perhaps if you found the words to describe how lovely his breathing was, and how wonderful he made you feel, that MURDERING SHIT might be more willing to come back

how could you?

You PROMISED me you'd have nothing more to do with him!

That which I'm referring to actually predates said promise, if you want to be technical about things.

I'm sorry, you weren't supposed to have read that.

Was I not? Kit, you amaze me.

And accepting his letters, keeping his letters counts and very obviously doesn't predate the promise.

Haven't you learnt anything? He's a MURDERER.

How do you know that was what I was referring to?

[I'm more embarassed that you read soppy thoughts concerning you, or maybe you didn't even notice that bit.]

You're always stuck on that point, aren't you?

I know it wasn't, but I don't believe you - why should I believe you? You promised me you wouldn't have anything more to do with him, you promised.

[Then you have a really warpedstrange set of priorities and yes of COURSE I noticed, it was...beautiful, but explain to me why loving your so-called boyfriend is more shameful than some sort of tawdry little liaison with a DEATH EATER]

Well, one of us has to at least NOTICE it. You don't seem to care.

He needed me. I'm sorry, but it's true.

[...it's because people aren't supposed to read your private thoughts about themselves - I'd rather have you read my private thoughts on almost anyone else but you.]

There was a tawdry liason? How did I manage to miss it?

You're right. It hasn't seemed important.

You aren't sorry at all.

Oh, don't tell me, it was beautiful and wonderful and actually Lestrange isn't an evil murderer who ruined the lives of the Longbottoms and spent over a decade in Azkaban, he's misunderstood.

How could you? And yes, I'm sure Lestrange finds your blind faith extremely comforting - he probably hasn't met anyone else quite as deluded - nobody who isn't wearing the Dark Mark, anyway.

I am, actually, but go on not believing me. I'm used to it.

Lestrange? Is beautiful and wonderful, now that you mention it. He understands things like being told you're not worth being loved.

Judging by the way a certain Longbottom seems cheerily content to flirt with you, his life doesn't seem all that ruined to me.

That's rich coming from you; you make a point of not believing me about anything.

.....I'm sure he does. Oh, you fool, he's poisoning your mind against me, why can't you see? If he's so beautiful and wonderful, why - no, I'm not stooping to your level.

"Seems" being the operative word, and he DOESN'T FLIRT WITH ME. Although why you'd care, being preoccupied as you are with stupid Lestrange, is a mystery to me.
