[Nearby her hiding place, Finn is locked in battle with one of the monsters, using a long stake to block himself momentarily. He kicks it in the gut and punches it in the face, knocking it over.]

Haha! You're not as tough as you look!

[While gloating, the monster grabs him by the leg and pulls it out from underneath him, causing him to smack down onto his back. He yelps as it bites onto his leg, gnawing on it. He uses his stake to stab it in the chest and it lets go of his leg to scream. It then falls over, bleeding to death. He flops onto his back and pants a little, tired from fighting.]

[ Jade hears the commotion, leaning out from her spot to watch. ]

Finn- [ She has to clamp a hand over her mouth to keep from drawing attention her way, waiting until the thing is dead before trying to get his attention. ] Finn, over here.

[He flips over and crawls over, wincing a little as dirt gets into the bite on his leg.]

Oh man, I'm glad you're alive!

[He stops right in front of the hiding spot.]

Are you okay?

[ She's quick to readjust her pant legs as he approaches. ]

I have no idea but there are a lot more where that came from!

[Just as he says that, another starts to creep up behind him.]

Finn, behind you!

[As soon as he turns his head, he yells a little in surprise as the monster starts to clear the gap between it and him. He gets up and ribs the stake out of the other monster's chest and throws it at the one coming towards him, stabbing it in the eye.]

Stay there Jade!

[He runs over and jumps on the monster's back, wrapping his arm around it's neck and using the other one to punch it.]

[frogst]

[ That will be no problem, because she doesn't think she's going anywhere for the moment. ]

Be careful!

[notwrongteous]

I'm alright!

[He wraps the other arm around the cannibal's neck and snaps it, jumping off as it falls down.]

These things sure are tough!
