*Howdy there, neighborino! Fio takes a peek outside and sees the girl selling popsicles. In December. OUTSIDE. The girl doesn't look like one of these weird "drones", so Fio decides to watch just a bit longer.

Even though an ice pop sounds delicious for some reason*

[Popsicles are always delicious! Cirno thinks so, anyway, and she knows best, right?

She pours some juice into a cup and freezes it, making a popsicle for herself while she waits for more customers.]

*Whoa, did that girl just freeze the juice instantly? Fio keeps watching like a nosy neighbor. She -could- go outside to meet other people, but she's still skeptical of her surroundings. Man, a popsicle would be awesome right about now...*

[frogsicles]

[Cirno chomps away at her popsicle, chases down a drone kid and forces one on him, and returns to her stand.]

*Damn. She's definitely not a drone. Fio starts fishing around for a coat, her craving for an ice pop becoming too much to bear. Once she finds a really... dated jacket, she goes outside.*

Fifty cents? I think I have that...

*Fio starts digging into her jacket pockets. Stupid dress not having any place to put change!*

Great! Fifty cents, please!

[Cirno makes another popsicle and offers it to Fio.]

*Dig, dig, dig... There's one quarter... It takes Fio a little time, but she manages to find a second quarter in the inner pocket. She hands them to Cirno*

Surprise me with a flavor. Also, how long have you lived here?

[frogsicles]

[Here, have an apple juice popsicle!

When Fio asks her question, Cirno frowns.]

......I got here last winter. An' it's almost winter again.

For a whole year? Then maybe you can tell me more about this place? I just got here a few days ago.

*She starts on her ice pop. Mmmm... apple*

Well...you gotta go to school or else they'll wash your brain an' then you act all creepy. An' when you get here they take all your stuff away an' you gotta be HUMAN an' it really sucks.

Sometimes the town does really bad stuff too, an' people get hurt or die or act crazy. I hate this place.

*Yeah, being a human is kind of lame- wait, what?*

So you're not a human? And they brainwash you if you don't go to school?

What kind of place is this?

[frogsicles]

Nope, I'm a fairy!

[She points to her wings.]

...It's a really bad place. I guess I'm used to it now, but it's still really bad. Nobody knows the way out or else everybody woulda left.

Wow, I thought those were just part of a costume!

A real fairy...

This place must have some powerful work behind it if they can capture fairies.

[Oh, no. Fio, you're going to regret saying that.]

Yeah, well, I'm the strongest, so they're not THAT powerful! I'm just...waitin' til I get all my stuff back so I can kick their butts even more than normal.

*Okay, that was an unexpected outburst. Fio nods, not wanting to be the next popsicle flavor*
