In SF news of your uncle's passing in unknown and it seems quite rude to search for details. Please know you are in my thoughts.

As for your story-- I was not expecting Rachel to bring Ivy back from death. Exciting and letting it all hang out to Mama Tamwood was a last laugh after a tense scene. Can't wait for more. Kali

Well I am not quite cruel enough to kill Ivy (besides i have a plan lol) I'm glad the last line worked ok, i wanted to do something to lighten the chapter. besides it just seemed like such a rachel thing to happen and perfect for her first meeting with Ivy's mum.

Working on the rest of the chapter however i have had to throw away everything i had written since my beta pointed out the most obvious plot that should happen - i buried my head in my pillow when she said it because it was just so logical. so my complicated, great idea that i had been carefully building to just got chucked out the window. Still it is much much better now i think.

Sorry about this, i know i dropped you a message as well - clearly i am in the mood to ramble endlessly.

Thanks :-) i am pleased you enjoyed it - i know it was a little short but i figured it was better to post something.

I know its a bit well sappy but i couldnt resist making their hearts beat in sync.

Hehehehe yes poor rache having to deal with Ivy's mum hopefully it will be a good scene.

I will try to update soon but my beta pointed out a perfect plot change to the rest of the chapter but it means a rewrite. still i think it will make the chapter work better.

Thank you this makes my second close family member in three years and will be my fourth funeral in three years. I hope that you are doing ok.

Im sorry about your uncle.
Rachel bringing ivy back to life was amazing i kept playing it out in my mine a hurt rachel dragging herself down the hall and saving ivy excellent work as always and keeps getting better

I am so glad that i got that part right i was a little worried the chapter would turn out too corny or lacking in atmosphere. And thanks for saying i am getting better, i hope that the trend continues.
