I am so spoiled now. *grins* Three chapters (alright 2 1/2 since you added more to chapter 1) in one day. Soooo nice.
Still not sure about Penelope, but if she's had a Demonology 101 .... hmmm that's how not to be snared by a demon. It does seem as if she thinks she's mated to Hezekiel but she's emotionally prepared not to be or she doesn't understand at all exactly what it means to be a demon's mate. Not surprised she would react that way after seeing Hezekiel's treatment of Dal who was supposed to be his mate.
Love the way the professor is reacting to this. Hezekiel is going to be in big trouble for his actions if the problem is with him and this isn't induced. Oh my if the Professor is Penelope's true mate. There are ribbons weaving this altogether if that's so.
AAaaaaand Steele is wizard background in someway.
Tell me, do you have sticky notes up on the wall in your house to follow the plot points?
The students here are just taught to keep their heads about them when a demon peruses them. The demons here take Mating very seriously, which is why Hezekiel will indeed be in deep trouble.
Mostly, I kept it all in my head, that's why I had to get it down so fast (the one I wrote last weekend). I'm prepared to fiddle with things if, say, a character doesn't come across the way I want them to or I've forgotten something, but I've got the first draft down.
