I've been meaning to post for a while. I had some really "interesting" customers lately and other odd things happened at work. But as I'm on vacation, I don't want to think about work.

I'll go and look. I've got to write the second Lavender and Diego book, but I'm still coming up with ways to make them uncomfortable. So far I've got his mother trying to marry them off right away, his father who has stopped even learning the names for the people Diego dates, and Lavender being left for a moment at a party where everyone there has slept with her boyfriend and doesn't expect their relationship to last. And a few others, but not quite enough for a book yet.

Can you try the website again? I thought maybe the problem was you weren't in the US, but people from Australia and the Netherlands got through.

I understand never ending lists. I've been meaning to hem my work pants since I got them months ago and now the too long hem has unraveled and I'm using safety pins to keep from stepping on them.

The lowly 3 star review really didn't say anything bad about the book. Could have been a 4 or 5 star for what it said. The ones that were 4 stars and 5 stars could have been posted on Good Reads easily. Nothing to be scared of at all.

No need to tell you you can read those review without fear onecrazycanuck and charisstoma already did it, but do read them, they're actually very respectful and positive.

Your website might benefit from a change of color for the links, this blue doesn't go well with the other colours you picked. Also maybe centering the main text part? (when I use Safari to watch it the book cover gets put underneath the text so it's really narrow but on Chrome it actually looks okay the way you made it, so I really don't know what to tell you on this one) Otherwise a small biography would be nice (just a blurb like thing to get an idea of who you are).

Your purse looks lovely. The tree of life is a great addition to it and I 100% approve of your choice of colours :P

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll tell my husband. He's the one making the site. He asked me to write a biography, but I forgot to do it. I want it to be story-like (like what I have at FP) or an essay (like Goodreads). Now I just need to think of something. Maybe about how I started writing or how I went from homophobe to equal rights before my kids came out.
