This pattern is for a poet shirt for normal sized men.

Simplicity is again anything but not simplistic

I'm about a intermediate sewer and this pattern and a few others are hard to understand and the patterns themselves are a bit off.

Ive had to take the sleeves off twice now.

I'm now having to rip the sleeves off and take out the gathering in them and modify them to be about 22 inches in circumference. the sleeve holes are barely 14 inches currently and Yves tiny arms do not fit them. connecting the dots on the pattern caused the medium size to be this small.

so it is my suggestion to anyone else undertaking this pattern to make sure you figure out how wide you want your arm holes to be for comfort then connect them in about the middle of the sleeve and shoulder. otherwise you sexy dreamy poet man looks like a trussed up psychopath in a straight jacket ( so not sexy unless you are into that )

as to the collar. the smaller front slit that is recommended for view D is two small . choose the larger of the two. it will sit better on the person you are making it for. Unless you are making it for a child.

i will post pics when i am done . but right now i am going to start ripping again for the second time. hopefully the third time is the charm.
