Comedy?

So, Bryan, Rick, and I went to the Improv club at churchstreet on friday night. We went to see Pauly Shore, who had apparently leased the building for the weekend so he could up the price of tickets. So, I couldn't use my prebought tickets, and we had to buy $25 tickets instead.
We got there early, and had nice seats to the right of the stage on the wall, but elevated.
The openers were really good. A black guy from the WB, who was clever, and a redneck who looked like a combination of the scarecrow and jason lee in "my name is Earl". But he was really good too. Each one had their own unique style.

Finally came the headliner "pauly"
He had this really wrinkled dress shirt, and huge puffy bags under his eyes. He was probably drunk, high and hungover all at the same time.
I was not impressed by his act. It was like he had 10 minutes of material he had thought up 10 minutes ago, and the rest of the time he was just fooling around (most of which had to do with sex)
Anyway, throughout the act, one audience member had bought pauly a drink (I'm guessing whiskey or bourbon) and he downed it eventually
Pauly also started hitting on these two girls, who couldn't be more than 18, even though they looked twelve. By the end of the act he had convinced the girls to come backstage with him.
I thought the most amusing part was when pauly was trying to pass time by mingling with the audience. He asked one guy who was seated up front where his wife was: "dead" the guy said, Pauly asked how she died, "she killed herself" the guy said,
Well it was interesting to see pauly try and get himself out of that one.
So, all in all it was a fun night, but mainly because I had two of my favorite fellas with me.
