Megacon..........
Well, another megacon has come and gone.
This years' con was rather dissappointing to me, I don't know why.
The cool part was getting in for free... major props to constance.
She got Missy and I in for free both Saturday and Sunday
She got Kit in on Sat. and Bryan in on Sun.
I dressed up a little, I bought some awesome resin horns, three pair to be exact.
I also added a small dragon to my collection, he's cute, and golden
It was interesting hunting down Cobb salads for some of the special guests, and now I can say to everyone that Cleopatra the porn star owes me $5 (I got heating pads for her carpol tunnel)
Space ghost was there, but not feeling very well, I think he caught the flu
The AMV contest was OK, but not great. It only lasted 2 hours, but 6 of them were on the final fantasy movie. Oh well
It was still a good con
Saturday night Missy, Bryan and I went to IMPROV (the old Rosie O Grady's on churchstreet) to see Kevin Pollack do his stand up. Apparently Missy and I got in for free there too
Anyway, his opener was hilarious, and he was awesome too. I cried over his Christopher Walken impression. Oh MY God!!
It was great, and Bryan got me his CD, and had him sign it to me.
Yesterday was actually our 6 month anniversary.
I attempted chicken parmesan (I wasn't happy with the sauce)
I got him the Ed Wood box set, and he gave me this huge red rose bouquet.
Today, is officially Mardi Gras for all you non-catholics out there. I plan to give up everything but chocolate for Lent (you gotta leave me something!!)
I'm trying to get the lab to go to Friendly's for lunch, Yay, ice cream for lunch!!
