I shouldn't be surprised by this... but damn...

Mitch McConnell (asshole Republican from my home state, sad to say) is opposed to measures meant to stimulate the US economy that would help US steel and iron workers by requiring contractors using economic stimulus funds to purchase American made steel. McConnell said that these "protectionist" tactics (Are you feeling a new Republican catchphrase in the making?) alienate our allies abroad.
I'm sorry, Mr. McConnell. I understand that, after 8 straight years of telling them to fuck themselves, the Republicans are very eager to repair relations with the rest of the world. But these funds are meant to jumpstart the AMERICAN economy that y'all fucked up.
You had your chance. For 8 years. And you squandered it. Now its time to create AMERICAN jobs, that employ as many AMERICANS as possible, to get this AMERICAN economy back on track.
Don't worry. Obama and crew are going to clean up that little foreign relations mess y'all left them with too.

The people have spoken. Your party lost. Your job now is just to smile uncomfortably no matter how much it galls your cracker ass that a black man is your commander-in-chief, and wait for the mid-term elections with baited breathe.
