HI GUYS I'M IN LOUISIANA

So basically I never update this anymore. Sorry you guys! ;; Catch me over on Plurk if you want Daily Updates on Froggy Life.

And so we go...

What I never told LJ was that my dad took a job in New Orleans!! We learned this like 3 months ago or something and we pretty much just drove down here in the last couple of days. Everything's packed up still save for our big furniture pieces and mattresses, and last night, I spent my frist night in our new home.

God, Louisiana is so gorgeous. It's not a mountain range or prairie or anything I'm used to. IT'S SWAMP but I'm sure you guys knew that already. The trees are spooky and the levies are hillish and the bridges are numerous and the potholes are many :( But I think I could get used to this. Granted, it's just entering winter now so I'm not experiencing the blistering fucking oppressive heat. But soon...

Anywho, we took five of our six cats down. Our sixth, Cheddar, had tumors in his stomach and so we just put him down while he was still happy. That was a couple of weeks ago, so I've come to terms with it by now. Instead, the resident cranky fatso of the house is Cubbie/Julie (he has two names!). I'm not going to go into a tangent about my cats right now but hey, keepin' all y'all informed and things.

My mother is reverting to a southern accent already. She just has to talk to someone who speaks with an accent and she falls into one. IT'S DISTURBING

I got second pick of the bedrooms in the house and I picked one of the smallest two rooms, which happen to be joined by a bathroom and next door to my little sister. Since they are both little rooms, and the unused bedroom is a spare, I get both 8) I'M EXCITED, YOU GUYS

Said little sister is watching me over the shoulder and says I type like a dingus. Say hello to Toad!

We also have cockroaches and lizards all over the place. Or maybe they're cockroach impersonators? In any case, we are calling all the roach-things Terrance and all the lizards Barnaby. Doesn't matter if they're boys or girls, they are Terrances and Barnabies.

Also the house is really freakin' huge and sweet. No carpeting, which is good as we tend to stain carpets and the cats like to scratch them up, and otherwise it's wood or tile flooring. Real neat! AND, WE HAVE AN INDOOR POOL

AND WE LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS!!!!!

Oh and one of the movers is this young guy named Chris and he's adorable. 83

Things are good right now.

ramble ramble ramble, omgomgomg, i feel so boss right now, adventures
