GENERAL
• Eruka has some distinctly amphibian physical features. The most notable ones are the spots at the corners of her mouth, but she also has little translucent webbings between her fingers and toes. When she's agitated, she'll blow tiny bubbles on her lips, exactly like a frog.
• Her hat is kind-of alive, although it's not really sentient. It DOES however provide her some kind of hammerspace, in that it can swallow things and Eruka can reach (very deep) into its mouth and pull stuff out.
• She has some self-esteem issues with her appearance. Although she'll often style herself as "cute", Eruka never thinks of herself in terms of attractive or sexy -- believing that people wouldn't ascribe those kinds of adjectives to her, since frogs aren't really attractive creatures. Consequently, she'll become extremely flustered and awkward if someone implies that they find her appealing, and feel uncomfortable if she feels she's being compared to another woman who IS perceived as attractive.
• In relation to the point above, she's not completely insecure with herself, and so being "cute" is something she enjoys. She loves clothes and dressing up, and being "girly". Even though she hates having to pass as a human, she'll do so from time to time in order to go shopping. Giving her clothes or accessories is a way to really win her over and if given half a chance, she'd be all over cosplay.
• Despite protesting that she hated being used for Medusa's errands and only did so because her life was threatened, Eruka didn't mind the tasks themselves. Like her Calculation Magic, Eruka's personality is geared to supporting others rather than taking charge and she actually enjoys being helpful.
• Also in relation to her Calculation Magic, Eruka is sort of a math genius, particularly when it comes to measurements. She can look at something and tell you immediately its dimensions, which combined with her above interests, has led her into enjoying making and designing clothes.
CANON POINT
• By the time Eruka is captured by Black*Star, Medusa has pretty much browbeat her into believing that everything that's happened has been her own fault. The logic pretty much works like this: Eruka was the one who put herself on Medusa's radar but confronting her with Mizune. That led to everything that's followed, and Eruka (sadly) believes it.
• She also believes she's on death row (no pun intended) and that it's only a matter of time until she'll be killed. Her reasoning: either she helps Shibusen, which betrays Medusa and she's torn apart by the snakes inside her body, or she tries to escape Shibusen to return to Medusa and gets her head blown off via the exploding collar. Failing either of those two outcomes, that her "trial" will only be a farce and she'll be killed once Death the Kid is safely retrieved.
