I received a total of 3 Halloween cards in the mail this week, containing roughly $10US. I clearly need to go on an after-Halloween chocolate shopping binge.
Speaking of $US, apparently they're starting to really push for the dollar coins to become normal to people. In my mind, if it goes into my change purse (or more likely the bottom of my purse) it's not actually worth it for me to pay with it. I took this same mindset in Jamaica, which ended up with me bringing back over $500 in Jamaican change. I should really start sneakily putting it in people's pockets and adding some mystery to their lives. The girl behind me in class spilled her purse and a bunch of Euros fell out. Maybe I should offer to trade her some; I'd definitely come out ahead on that deal.
