I am so glad that I am not allergic to flowers because I have 3 beautiul boquets to admire!
First boquet are 2 dozen petite roses from Olivia (not on LJ). They were sent on my birthday via ProFlowers.com. I have sent her flowers in the past (last year) and she is big on flowers and she loves the quality and the boquets that they put together. This was my first boquet received from ProFlowers and I was very happy with the quality.
The next boquet came yesterday morning from nicolemarieh. This is a carnation assortment in pretty pastel colors also from ProFlowers.com. They also have those purpley crepe-paper type flowers in them that always blow my mind because they feel fake but they aren't. Nature is amazing!
And last but not least, leogrrl8 and Izzie came over yesterday and brought this cheery yellow boquet over. Izzie calls the "Get Well Soon" balloon a wand. I think its precious! This was the longest stem boquet out of the two, so I had to trim it down a bit but it looks really pretty in the vase I have it in.
These pictures cannot do these flowers any justice but I thought I'd share them. Thank you so much ladies for your thoughtfulness. Flowers are a perfect medicine!
Oh yah, I almost forgot.
Zach went downstairs to get some stuff out of his car (he's driving my car today) and when he came inside he had a package from Amazon.com
I am now a proud owner of a royal blue snuggie.
It is amazing!
It's from Olivia and here's her message "Stina, Get Well Soon! This should help your recovery along... it can be difficult to balance a blanket and remote and frozen yogurt while on meds. I love you and I just couldn't resist. Livies"
So I called to thank her but got her voicemail. I sound horrible on it though, oh well.
So here is my obligatory Snuggie picture! I need to wash it because its a bit static-y but other than that it's amazing!
I look horrible even an hour after a shower! Does my face look swollen? I didn't realize how bad it was. I think I'll get pics of my gray and black tonsil site next.
So what kind of cult should I start?
