The Student Assistant Speaks
Life's been...interesting. First off, I'm working for the UP Alumni Newsletter. I encode, I cut out articles, I run my boss errands and they feed me every three hours. Not bad.
I'm moving to Tandang Sora today. I'm a bit anxious about that, as I've started to like my bed at home again. But I've told myself that I have got to get my parents out of my skin or I'll never grow up.
Also, things are getting stressful with the LABAN film. I can't get the PIO in the PMA offices on the phone because we need to bring up a film crew before October 20!. So if any of you know any PMA graduates who can sneak us into the place they keep their yearbooks...I'd appreciate a holler.
My number's still the same. Though my other cel drowned the other week, I was able to keep my sim card and I'm using my cousin's phone, which is sweet of her, really.
Life's been a bit more stable so I've gotten back to writing drabbles. Will list them sooner or later...or someday, for my archive. A bunch of holiday fic-a-thons are popping up, too. I'm insane for hoarding prompts and knowing that thesis and paper deadlines are looming...just hovering there on the horizon. My priorities are shot.
I have a whole bunch of thank you's to dole out before this week ends; cards to fill, people to hug. So let me just thank my LJ flist for being the wonderful people they are, and giving me help when I needed it. Love you guys to bits. Text me if any of you want to meet up; I'm at the other end of Manila, though...so Cubao and Tomas Morato are the more ideal places to see me.
