Contemplating BSG/Voyager Crossovers: The Birth of the Janeway/Roslin Pairing

People have been coughing up Janeway/Roslin fics the past few weeks, myself included, and mostly on femslash100. I like your view on these two, And I agree with the way you describe Janeway and Roslin. They are the same but different. Oh and of course these complications. *evil grin*

BSG? What's that?

I was more obsessed with what happened to Paris as opposed to Janeway. If I were to write a fic, it would prolly be about him. -_- I loved his history!

Are they ever gonna make a ST:V movie?!

Didn't think anybody else I knew liked Voyager! -_-

BSG = Battlestar Galactica. I'm referring mostly to the mini-series. Oh my! A Voyager fan! Well, Paris is also a favorite of mine. :) As for a movie, I don't think they're ever going to do that; though, I do know cameo's are a big probability.

A movie might take time to come out. Any Star Trek movie, that is. Because the last one was a flop and I'm pretty sure producers are scared to put their money on ST, with Enterprise coughing up less-than-excellent episodes...

Just an observation. Mary McDonnel is all but three years older Kate Mulgrew,
so can we pleasepleaseplease stop refering to her as "the older woman" in their fanfics.

thanks SO MUCH for this post! you really articulate what's compelling about the pairing. I remember when it was only a gleam in missfoxie's eye, and I couldn't be more thrilled to see it gathering such momentum. hopefully your musings will add to that. if only I hadn't already blown my own Janeway and Roslin xover budgets ( ... )

Dearest, thank you for the heads up regarding the gen fics (Voyager/BSG Crossovers) by ariestess and thesocialnorm. I'll be sure to peruse them. Also, I don't think I've found other fics outside of the comms you mentioned. The users I listed are supporters, icon-makers, readers, and writers alike. :) Glad you could drop by and comment. I wrote you a response "essay" of sorts, to be posted at bsg_femslash in a little while. Watch out for it! :) It's for you. And for the J/R community at large.
