Dawn of the Dead is one of the best zombie movies I've seen. Made of classic win. I love the fact that the main protagonist is a nurse (because my girlfriend is a nurse!) and that she wields a shotgun somewhere in the middle of film. Aside from it being a gut-fest, it was awfully entertaining. I have yet to own a copy of Shaun of the Dead. I used to have it in my hard drive but it is currently in Cagayan de Oro.
I'm taking a bit of a break from thesis, a few hours long. Then it's back to business. I can't wait to get this monster over and done with. There is so much to do after I get it done! Like hop the Philippine islands and party 'til dawn. And visit le mommies. And save the planet. And march at Pride a few months down the road without a care if I out myself to the entire planet. Because once the parents know, then the whole world ought to, too.
I am still enjoying my Twinings tea, particularly the Strawberry & Mango, and the Peach & Passion Fruit infusions. Mmm! I miss BOH, which was really "in your face" in terms of flavor. Then, I miss CBTL even more; I need to get a can after I finish my box of Twinings.
My family is f*cked up, including the one from my biological side. There is a reason why I don't like staying with my biological family: my papa is a drunkard and I cannot stand the sight of their destitution while I --at the behest of my adoptive father --live like a queen. I cannot give them anything at this moment and if I must help, then I will help when I have more than enough for myself. It is not selfishness, it's simply survival and practicality. I can't help anybody if I cannot help myself.
Also, if you haven't watched Hairspray, YOU MUST. Oh, you MUST! I can't begin to tell you how effin' entertaining the movie is.
