It's been an uninteresting week here at Katipunan Avenue, with sun and rain and fog --of all things --engulfing our flat. Not to mention the sudden rain of occupants. From the four of us, who didn't really see much of each other, we have a new flatmate named Franky (who is queerly allowing another student to sleep in his otherwise unoccupied room). Max and Jo arrived from a month long trip around Southeast Asia, which involved motorbiking for three days to soak in beautiful, Thai scenery. Jeselle is also back from her vacation of going out and sleeping copiously.
Kris and I are in a stage in our relationship where we get irritated at each other for the littlest things. I'd hardly consider it serious; I think that we're both getting used to each other's quirks but we seem to get into petty fights more often. I'm still very worried about Kris' breast lumps but without the money, medical attention is still paydays away.
In other news, I've been doing some fanfiction writing and posting updates on ff.net. People down at
femslash-today are on a month-long hiatus (crap!) but they do need a rest. I used to update and it was...difficult. But fun!
There's a proposal in the works for a big multinational company; hopefully they take a bite. I'm starting to realize that I truly have to make work mine; I have to realize that there is something truly at stake here, and that I'm not just into it to bide the time.
Schools stars today; I'm getting my chapter one back and I'm a wee bit nervous about the re-write (eeep!). I'm getting a sinking feeling in my stomach because I know that I'll be going back to the drawing board with more ideas than I can chew.
I've also started exercising. Lately, it's been a bike ride every 5AM, with a breakfast of oatmeal to keep it healthy. I hope this holds up as I need to lose weight. I want to take up a new sport but I can probably rekindle my love for football, instead.
