Biking
I had my second Marshal ride today and after the third, I'd be a full-fledged Firefly Tour Marshal! It took us longer than usual to traverse the route because one of our riders fell flat on his face along McKinley while another had a flat tire after Makati.
Pictures of the ride itself to come soon! Oh, and I'm now part of a group called Eco Rescue, which is an environment-centered organization. Some members are going for a La Mesa bike trail ride on the 24th, if any of you are interested on getting tired beyond whoa. Make sure you have a trail bike!
Fanfiction
I haven't been able to read any of the writers' stuff, or help with the comms for which I am very ashamed. What's worse is that I haven't written a friend's Sydren fic, fed the femslashers at BSG some Tory loveliness, nor written any metas on BSG's notorious episodes. In fact, I don't have the stomach or the heart to watch "Maelstorm". (Finally found to courage to do these. I've got my priorities all whacked!)

I received this SMS message from my mother the other day, after I asked her permission to use the car, as I was going to have dinner with one of LABAN's associate producers (well, there are only two of us, go figure) late into a Friday evening:
"How is your thesis? Why do you have time for socials?"
Who does she think I am? Oscar the Grump?!
Oh and by the way, the entire family, including the nephews, are leaving for Canada this summer, talked about it in full detail in front of me, and didn't even realize that they hadn't invited the adopted daughter. Though I would've declined, regardless, so I don't feel too bad.
Nevertheless, Lara my cousin called from New York and spread some cheer, for which I am forever grateful. She's writing a book (an anthology to be exact) with Eric Gamalinda and Gina Apostol. Two short stories each, I believe. I'm very excited for her!

Let's not even go there... I think I'd fill the entirety of this page, look back and find out that I accomplished nothing except upset myself.

I'll finally start some serious meetings with potential clients and financiers and important connections by the start of April. My (intensive business) training with the CEO and another MoB begins soon! And yes, please keep your fingers crossed! I really do want to get some good news from the Cannes!
