Wicked RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
After a long, frustrating two weeks, I finally got the entire play downloaded. Although, I wish it was the touring ensemble with Stephanie Block (gee, I can't praise her enough can I?), it still freakin ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! There were so many parts in the play that I didn't remember until I saw the recording. The best passage in the movie? When Dorothy is locked up and Elphaba (aka Wicked Witch of the West) tells her:
"Oh for Oz's sake stop crying! I can't listen to it anymore. You want to see your Aunt Em? And your Uncle what's-his-name again? Then get those shoes off your feet! [Silly] little brat. Takes a dead woman's shoes! Musta been RAISED IN A BARN!!!!!"
*ROFL* Gaw, I can't get enough of that act. It so freakin rocks. So, Yes! I again for the third/fourth time tell everyone to GO SEE THAT PLAY!! Especially you Kat, since you have the soundtrack and already know how good the music is.
On the life front, still at my low-paying, stressful, full of weird and sometimes annoying co-workers job. Living to work not working to live. *sighs* Soon, I hope...soon. I need to get a new job A.S.A.P. I have plans for next year that cannot occur unless I can make more money. Only Jaxie knows what those plans are since I promised I would show her the pictures before anyone else. ;) So if you forgot hun, I'll tell you next time I see you.
Thanksgiving next week and yours truly has to prepare the dinner. [insert scream FX here] Let's just hope I don't kill anyone. Hoping to get the next day off to hit up the sales. Jimmy, me, hot chocolate and bloody 3 AM IN THE MORNING IN LINE!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Can't wait. I have to remember to buy my boss something if he let's me get the day off since I said in my reuest that if he did, I would.
Well, nothing else as of this point. I need to go brush my teeth before I head back to work frokm lunch. The only real benefit to having this job? It's practically right down the street from my parents' house. Gotta love it.
Next update I'm going to try and put in some pics to Puppy and myself. Not very recent ones, but the most recent I have. If anyone wants to see them that is.
