no need to go and burn it down now

My laptop freaked out and told me to check the fans when I booted it up a little while ago. So I unscrewed some stuff on the bottom, found a fan, and got all the dust and gunk off of it and the filter to the outside- it looked like part of a vacuum in there. Now The Masked Bandit (that's my laptop's name) is running much more quietly and quickly. Plus earlier my dad mentioned the driver for his wireless card had been wiped (which happened to me when I reinstalled windows, except it was because I removed Broadcom on purpose without knowing it would have that effect), so I told him he could probably go to the Dell website and find the right driver thatway.

Yeah, I feel pretty technically smart today.

Plus I went into work for a little bit to check in some stuff so we're not swamped tomorrow morning (which I am also working). And I did laundry. How's that for a productive Easter?

Speaking of which, a little bit ago my folks and I were discussing it, and we reached the conclusion that the Romans probably didn't check Jesus' pulse before they pulled him down. Think about it. Two days later, he was up and walking about, and some Roman is like "They're saying he rose from the dead! He was dead, right?" and whoever's job it was to have made sure cleared his throat nervously and said "Oh yeah, totally. He was completely dead. Must be a miracle."

Which is why my parents are awesome, because they have senses of humor about such things.
