before I forget
I saw the most amazing thing yesterday, as I was walking home. A woman (about my age, maybe a year or two younger) was walking along the sidewalk, carrying a small suitcase and a cat. Not in a cat carrier, just holding a cat such that its front paws were on her shoulder and it was looking around at the scenery. It was wearing a collar, but no leash. I was astonished and impressed.
