Oh this was incredible. The emotional struggles felt so real, and they were wonderful to delve into and read.
My favorite part was when Sam was getting spanked by the Gaffer, then met Frodo. It was just too cute. You guys have the chemistry and language on these two hobbits down pat. It was sweet and loving.
Though..:( I don’t think Frodo told Sam that he loved him back... even if its cliché’ and not entirely necessary ..ehp! Poor Sammy.
On the whole, I loved this. It was nice to set aside a bit of my day and read a long Fic. Its been a while, and this was both well done and replenishing to me. Thank you for sharing. P.S. it was hot too. (just so you know XD)
Your wonderful comments have made me all warm and fuzzy inside! *Grin* I am honored that you'd take the time to read this, and that you enjoyed it so. There's nothing like being able to dive into a long fic, and I'm delighted that you are taking the time to read "Lorien."
And yes, Frodo didn't tell Sam he loved him back. It was no oversight. As I saw it, those are not words that come easily to Frodo's lips, and at that point, he wasn't sure if he could say it and mean it as passionately and truly as did Sam--and saying it and not meaning it would be to cheapen everything that Sam had just said. So he didn't.
Indeed, poor Sam... but things improve quickly for both of them. You'll see. ;)

Yes, Frodo never did say it, even at the end. Perhaps he should? I'll think on it.
