We're Losing Our Country to Ass-Twats!!
To anyone who's reading this,
I've been reading the news lately and I see that--once again--Bush is trying his damnedest to get us all killed.
He recently sidestepped the Senate to hire John Bolton as the new Head of the United Nations, saying that the post is too important to leave vacant any longer. The U.N. spot was empty for about 5 months because the Dems in the Senate protested Bush's decision and now I see why: Bolton's a dumb prick. For one, he slammed the U.N. in 1994 by saying it wouldn't make a "bit of difference" if the top 10 floors of the United Nations no longer existed. Then he added that America is the only *snicker* Uber Power that can straighten out the world's problems. He even had the nerve to say that the Middle East was ruled by a dictator and that Iran's secretly building WMDs. Yes, I will agree that Saddam was a ultraviolent man who deserves nothing but the worst, but if Iran's such a threat, then why didn't our government go after them when they had the chance? Why go after Saddam when he hasn't done anything to America, but only (unfortunately) to his own people?
What bothers me the most is that the other U.N. officials are patting Bolton on the back. They know his history and are familiar with his bravado, but want to work with him anyway! Here's what some of the Ambassadors have to say:
Algeria's U.N. Ambassador Abdallah Baali: "Honestly, I'm looking forward to working with him. I worked with him several years ago, and I enjoyed working with him. He's a very smart guy who can be very constructive, who can be very creative. So I think it will be very interesting to spend a few months with him in the Security Council."
Russia's deputy U.N. ambassador Konstantin Dolgov: said Bolton was well known in Moscow and "as far as I know he is a negotiator with quite some background."
Germany's U.N. Ambassador Gunter Pleuger: "He will be one of the key players because the United States is the largest contributor and a great power in the Security Council. There are conflicting views on nearly every issue that is on our plate for the reform, and the largest player in the U.N., of course, plays a key role."
Now when I read these, I'm thinking I cannot believe these morons are the leaders of entire countries! Ok, wait--what did Bush promise you? These men don't even go into detail about how wonderful Bolton is, so I know some deals exchanged hands, tables, German beer cans, whatever.
The more I read about this guy, the more I realize that this shit is a huge mistake. He already pissed off North Korea and Iran, the two countries that the U.S. Government should NEVER piss off, especially North Korea because they actually have WMDs!! And I'm pissed because, as people, there is nothing we can do and I'm even more pissed at the ass-twats who voted for Bush because they didn't want to switch presidents in the middle of a war that shouldn't exist. Then people don't responsibility for their own stupidity, so they scapegoated the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community because, for obvious reasons, the Neo-Cons made same-sex marriage the "hot issue" during the election.
But I digress.
My point is this: John Bolton is a ass-twat whose desire to show off for his party is going to get us blown off the earth. There's no other way of putting it at this point. Bush doesn't know what he's doing, so he's only making matters worse. Everything that's going on now wouldn't be going on had Howard Dean or John Kerry would've been in office. We would've safe.
