Congratulations to Chris Cline!!!!
After a fantastic performance this afternoon, it was announced that he
is the WINNER of this year's Concerto Competition.

Congratulations and thanks to all students who participated in the
2006/2007 Valdosta Symphony Orchestra VSU Student Concerto Competition.
Special congratulations to the competition winner and finalists.
The winner of the competition will perform with the Valdosta Symphony
Orchestra on the February 9, 2007 Youth Concert:
Chris Cline, alto saxophone
The winner and selected finalists will perform in a public Honors
Recital on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 6:00 PM The winner and finalists
will receive a commemorative award and be recognized from the stage.
The recital will be followed by a banquet at the Valdosta Country Club
in honor of the students and Music Department student honors
recipients. The banquet is sponsored by the Valdosta Symphony Guild.
The banquet will also recognize the 2006/2007 Season of the Valdosta
Symphony Orchestra.

Alicia DeLoach, soprano
Bryan Garris, piccolo
Joseph Gill, horn
Suzanne Roberts, soprano
