On Art and Roma and Passion

I just found out that my professor is married to the daughter of Lee Friedlander, one of the greatest American photographers of all time!!! =) I love love love my photo classs, and my brother can testify that Prof. Roma IS indeed one of the best teachers around -- since he sat in one of my classes. I want to take another of Roma's classes next

Stiglitz--Joseph Stiglitz the Public Economist? Haha what a coincidence, I'm reading his book right now for a Public Finance class. I don't want to judge him as a prof based on his er, preferred writing style (he DOES sound like a great researcher though) but let's just say his textbook isn't really one of my faves. I read it before bed and it never fails to put me to sleep. (to be fair, it's really informative)

HOWEVER, he DID win the Nobel Prize for Econ so if you're keen on learning about Finance+Econ then he's the guy. :)
