I am horribly sun burned because I was silly and forgot to bring sunblock to Sasquatch. Good thing the show was so freaking amazing that I didn't care. Made some new friends and met up with some old ones, basically ran into everyone I knew ever there. Josh Guerci, Casey Wagner, a million people from the radio station, I even saw a girl I went to Germany with when I was an exchange student in high school. Crazy! Kind of gives credence to the Lost (you know, the TV show, not the state of being) idea of everyone being connected. Not like I believe in any of that hoodoo. Hoodoo, I say!
I have never sung so hard at a concert as I did at the Arcade Fire show. Just further cementing them in my mind as one of the greatest bands of all time. Ridiculously great show. Bjork was ok, I would have liked to have seen her in a more intimate venue. Even though she had pyrotechnics and crap I think she doesn't really fit the huge audience style of concert. The Beastie Boys did a sweet instrumental show, Gabriel Teodros did a silly hip hop show (by silly I mean there were a bunch of people on stage just being ridiculous and dancing and being retarded doing nothing), Mirah was cute and junk, but The Blow was probably the best performance. She was the one of the first people we saw that day, on the smallest stage, but I couldn't get her songs out of my head ALL NIGHT. I love her. I loves her so much. After the show I kept walking past her between stages as well. I wanted to put her in my pocket and keep her forever.
The yakisoba was horrible and overpriced and I drank an 11 dollar beer. A good time was had by all.
