I wonder why we associate specific colors with moods. Is it some sort of natural association with what makes us happy or sad? Are blue and cooler colors "sad" because they remind us of overcast days and water and rain and cold? And do we think yellow and warmer colors are "happy" because they remind us of LIFE GIVING sunlight?
I suppose this is tied to why minor keys played in a song make us feel melancholy as well.
Of course now that I have posted this I'm going to get people in the comments trying to be all *different* and saying plaid makes them happiest or something. Pfffft.
