Remembrance and a Plea...
Thirty years ago today, I received the horrible news that my father had died from multiple heart attacks that morning. I miss you so very much, Daddy...how I wish you were here to see your wonderful grandchildren and your beautiful great-granddaughter...
And now, the plea...this past March, I lost my 44 yr. old brother to cardiac arrest, my older brother has had single bypass surgery -- and a few years back, my totally symptom-free husband found out, via a routine stress test (and subsequent follow-up tests), that he needed quadruple bypass surgery...PLEASE! Take care of your heart and PLEASE, get that testing done! Even if you think you're healthy, do the testing your doctor recommends!
