Once again, Froey to the rescue...

Where've I been? The library! Since no one is doing anything useful, I figured I had to help my poor Dad...cause if he goes to Mordor, I'll end up having to take care of Sammy and Mom.

*shudder*

Pursuant to Case No. B19293, the matter of Snaga the Orc vs. Banazir Galbasi aka Sam Gamgee.

Motion to dismiss.

Cirith Ungol, as named in the complaint, was under the governorship during the time period in question by the Country of Mordor. However, legal documents (exhibits C,D,E) clearly show this territory had never officially been ceded by the Gondorian government.

International law would then classify Cirith Ungol as a business controlled by foreign interests but subject to Gondorian law, not Mordorian. Gondorian law (Workers rights section 2, subsection 3, paragraph 8) states that in on the job personal injury cases, it is the employer's responsibility to pay for all medical expenses as well as to see to job retraining and compensating for mental anguish.

Furthermore, the Gondorian/Shire treaty (q.v international law section 2) of 3022 declares that Shire dignitaries, (i.e., Shirrif, Thain, Mayor's bitch, etc.) shall be free from lawsuit and prosecution unless agreed upon by the King of Gondor and the Mayor of Michel Delving.

As an aside, the plaintiff was working within the borders of Gondor without a worker's permit, which disqualifies him from all benefits from his time serving in Cirith Ungol.
