This was the central theme to all Josh* taught me, and the reason why I kept hitting brick walls when I was trying to overcome my anxiety problem on my own. It isn't about becomign someone who doesn't have any fears, sadness, or jealousies, it's about experiencing them as part of the human condition, learning from them, and most importantly, continuing forward despite them.
*For those new to my journal, Josh is my fantastic therapist of a little more than a year whom I am no longer seeing because he's given me the tools I needed to stand on my own.
