In the end, the action sequences were fun, but not nearly as fun as watching all these talented actors chew scenery and be badass in their own ways.

And whenever Tony and Pepper are on screen, the banter reaches new heights of UST
Yes! I am very much not a fan of romance, and was happy with how things were left at the end of the first movie. But by the end of 2 - yes, I was ready for them to be them!
Justin is like Tony's less talented cousin - all the egotism, and nearly none of the charm.
I want to write Tony, Justin, and Rhodey at MIT, I do.
Wonderful review! Just the one I was looking for. My favourite "action" scenes also were those with Tony and Jarvis and all the holographs, the genius at work. RDJ totally pulls that off extraordinary well and believable. I guess he looked at things that weren't even there in the first place.
The scene in Pepper's office is hilarious, with that moving thing before their noses, and she says something like "I need you..." and then a few seconds later, "not in my office" (not sure if the translation is right because I saw it dubbed).
I agree in all your points about Hammer, Ivan and Natasha. And also that they wanted to put too much in the movie. But it was ok that way, I love to explore more now through reading more backround info.
The fight between Iron Man and War Machine made my heart ache, though.
I too liked Samuel L. Jackson :D But it looks like Tony won't make a big appeareance in his movie now...
ALL in all, and I saw it twice now, a movie to fall for Mr.RDJ even more :D:D:D Yes, I admit I am a new fan of his.
