The Dog Whisperer is currently my favorite television show. Some might find that a bit odd, if not somewhat juvenile of me. Regardless, whoever said I was not capable of being suprising. The Dog Whisperer; what is not to like? A savvy hispanic with a curious accent, positive demeanour, training unruly k-9's to pipe down and listen. No, I dont watch the Dog Whisperer out of some deepset desire to see Cesar get snapped at. No my friends. Again, no. I genuinely like the show. So much show that I changed Spike tv UFC specials just to watch it.
Movies I have Seen Lately:
Flags of our Fathers: It is what it is. A film about war told through riveting flashbacks. While it certainly is a quality war film, all the more interesting because it recounts the Battle of Iwo Jima, it does not measure up to the likes of, say, Saving Private Ryan. I would recommend it but not to any of my friends, at least not to anyone who has no interest in history.
Borat: Hilarious. Enough said. I recommend it to everyone because everyone I know has a weird, offbeat sense of humor.
Ive seen alot of other movies lately but I dont feel like writing about them.
In other news, i have been working on that 18x24" project that I started years ago. I kind of got really tired of looking at it and it bugged me that I hadnt finished it. Ive made some improvements to it and sketched out most of the unfinished spots.
Its a strange project for me though because I do genuinely hate it, with a passion. Odd considering I used to love it. I think I only harbor animosity towards it because its completion has eluded me for so long.
