There was so much fluff in this chapter it left me grinning all the time. Well, almost. Obviously! Because I LOVE the fact you didn't just end the story happily but left space there for a sequel. Or even just an imaginable sequel. As soon as I read those things about the Sactum and another camp and WHATEVER else there might be that's coming, my brain started rattling and a whole new universe formed automatically in my mind. It's like magic! You do the magic here, girl!
Snow and Lightning are so horny it's almost embarrassing! Even more, because it so reminds me of my big fat love meltdown back then with my now husband. (Thank you for that! Hahaha!) Thinking about it makes me blush because we must have looked like idiots. Like Lightning and Snow do. Like everyone in that situation does, I guess? Fresh love is idiotic and childish, but also so sweet and intense. Especially when you're young. Like 22. (Holy crap, are they really that young?! I feel old.)
Thank you so, so much for sharing your own imaginary universe with me/us! <3
You should go and have a cream pie (a real one! Like... well, whatever kind you like the most! XD) as a reward for your great work!
I can't wait to read more from you! Not only the outtakes (which are stil waiting for me bo be read! YEAH!) but also Evolution, of course!
I'm sending you lots of love! <3

I really loved writing the whole dinner scene. It was so light-hearted after so much angst. Hope's little nasty remark about Snow and Lightning giving him Diabetes is one of my favorite moments for him in the story. Almost as much as Sazh handing over a credit chip to Fang, and Snow talking to the empty living room in Chapter 16. (I must be having a nightmare. There's no way this is happening.)
Until I got to this scene, I forgot how much I really enjoy writing the 'team as family' dynamic.
And honestly, one of my favorite lines in Chapter 16 was when Lightning thought Snow was giving her the "'it's not you, it's me' speech, while also saying, 'but really, it's totally you; you're the absolute worst.'"
It's up there with Fang sucker punching Lightning in Evolution as one of my favorite moments
