Okay OKAY. Boston was fun. :D
It was absolutely GAWDGEOUS outside, so I actually wore a skirts. :D Sarah and I got into Ruggles about 11:00 and walked to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Loooots of pretty, shiny stuff. Was was going to take pictures and I did take a few, but my camera died. Needless to say, I was bummed. I was really hoping to just take random pictures of Sarah and I being silly, but no... it had to die in a museum. D:
We stayed there until 2:00 and then took the T to the South Station to meet up the Sarah's friend, Freiya, who is the bee's knees. We went to Davis Square in Sommerville and wondered around there for forever. We stopped at this cute cafe for lunch and I had hummus for the first time (I thought it was good) and we talked about how the photo booth in there reminded up of Amelie.
After lunch, into a used book store, which looked more like a library. Seriously... there were books up the wazoo. But I didn't buy anything, though. I don't think I really bought anything until my went to this gamers store called "Your Move Games" Where I bought my first D20 (along with other dice)and a card game called "Fluxx" which is interesting enough. We basically stood in there for a good 45 minutes or so talking about World of Darkness and chatting with the cute staff. (No, I wasn't flirting. I love Joe. But it didn't stop Sarah or Freiya from making that keen observation. Haha.) They were pretty awesome. If you ever have the chance, you should go there.
After that we went to this store called Magpie which is adorable. It's filled with all these artsy, craftsy, little knick knacks. Like bracelets make out of vinyl records and earrings made from buttons and so forth. I ended up buying this cute Kiwi pin, a pair of strawberry earrings and this egg thing that you crack the top of and it's filled with soil and seeds. You water and take care of the egg and a plant grows from it. I bought the wild strawberry one for my mom's birthday present. After Magpies with just wandered around until a bit more.
After all that fun and shenanigans, we decided we should probably go back home, so we took the T back to the South Station where we looked at fudge and sucked on lollipops. And when the train came we got on and played Fluxx until we got to Providence.
Good times, good times.
Anyways... TIME TO MAKE PIE FOR PI DAY GOODNESS! :D
