Well Well Well...
Um... It seems everything is falling into place for me lately.
I got a job... finally. I've been hired at the Providence Police Department. It's basically a desk job. I basically sit at a desk and direct people where to go, give people the right extensions and call victims and check up on them and comfort them if needed. It's five times a week for eight hours, pays bi-weekly, and is minimum wage, but it's a job and my dad is a patrolman in Providence, so he knows everyone at the sub-station which means that they will be treat me kindly there. I think my first official day starts tomorrow. I'm not sure. o.o I need to go to a meeting tomorrow with the Lieutenant I'm working under. I know that much, but I don't know if I have to go to the sub-station after and start my job. So, uh, I'm just going there, just in case. Yeah. I just hope I don't mess up in some way, shape, or form. I had to go in today and sign a bunch of contracts and that really intimidated me, but after talking to one of the interns that have been going what I'm basically doing for about a year, that calmed me down a bit. I'm still nervous, though.
In other news: Krissy's got a boyfriend! =-o
It now seems that Joe (gohanmastaflex) and I are now a couple. Which, in my humble opinion, is a good thing. :D He lost is interwebs awhile ago and I would call him every night. And I see him a hell of a lot more than I use to(I met him on LJ and he lives in Rhode Island... go figure) So even though we were friends for over a year, I think that's what made us a little closer... Or... um... I'm just being a over-romantic dumbass. You know. That. But yeah. He's a great guy and I care about him a lot. So, um, YAY! <3
In other OTHER news: Jack and Sarah and their friend, JB, to a HUMANWINE concert. Oh God, that was fun. Jack bought some tacky red outfit from the Salvation Army and tore the shit out of them, put ash and spray paint all over it and wore it to the show. :D He basically wanted to be an ogre. I thought that was fun so I took an old pink shirt and cut off the sleeves and safety-pinned the sleeves of a blue, paisley shirt, and wore it under an old khaki summer dress that I smushed mud and paint all over. Sarah had the simplest wardrobe out of the both of us (though, the best looking. :P) She wore this loooong silver, disco-ball of a skirt, a black cut-up t-shirt, and a black sparkly bodice type thing over the shirt. Basically, an ogre can go up on stage and dance for one song. Personally, I just did it because I take any opportunity to dress up silly. after the concert, we got to chat with Holly who is the lead singer of the band. And somehow, Jack used his magical mystical powers to make them consider playing the pre-show of his musical about the Dresden Dolls so that's completely AWESOME!
So in a nutshell, my life has been pretty much full of happy.
Here's just hoping that work won't break me. <3
Aaaaaand I should sleep tomorrow. I have to wake up at 5:30am
