Stormy nights are perfect for inspiration. Greg and I had a great day together even though we didn't do a whole lot. We went to the driving range and I did okay, and then we got candy and juice at the shell station. We went to downtown grand rapids to walk on the blue bridge as the sun was setting. He described it as the eye of the hurricane. I thought it was perfect. A quiet, sweet spot with busy traffic and such all around. We drove around a little bit, went back to the good ol' coffeeshop and hung out. It was really nice.
I'm watching a bat cave on TV. With like, flesh eating beatles and quicksand and stuff. Crazy.
I'm not sure how to get my dog to be more friendly. I've tried to socialize him as much as possible, but the last time I brought him to the coffeeshop he has been really intimidated and nervous. We even bring him to doggy day care, and you think that would help but it hasn't. He's fine with people once he gets to know them but he seems really skiddish of other people. He's a really good dog though. Teaching him tricks is a breeze. He's whining right now from the storm. But yeah, its funny, he loves huge dogs and he's 3 pounds and 4 months old. Anyway, I didn't intend the journal to be about my dog, but I know a lot of people know I've never had a dog or know I have one and yep.
So tomorrow I am finishing up my summer class pretty much and then I get to work at the lab for hours and hours. Yayyyyyy.
Oh my god. This is so ridiculous! These people are brushing baby bat's teeth! With like, a stiff pipe cleaner!! I'm really tired. Can youtell????
