(no subject)
Well, let's see. It seems like I'm gaining, but it is going very slowly. Really, that's alright, I don't want to become huge overnight anyway. I'm still scraping by until I can get my check from school. I'm going to be having a total binge as soon as I do - I'm soo sick of not having enough to get really full! I enjoy feeling stuffed and sated about as much as I do the gain itself, so I'd really rather not do this half-assed with just a couple extra calories here and there. If I'm going to stay interested, I need to really -eat- on occasion :)
Been hanging around the Dimensions chat room a lot, and I have a couple of thoughts on that. On the one hand, some of the people there are really sweet. Of course, I also enjoy the compliments I've been getting on my pics as well... it's a bit odd, because I rarely if ever get complimented irl.
On the other hand, I've noticed that there seems to be a big, healthy helping of resentment for all feeders floating around there. Now, I'm not there for 'hot cyber,' and while I -do- enjoy talking about weight gain, feeding, and maybe even getting or giving some encouragement, I am always polite, and usually don't even bring the subject up unless the other person seems to feel like talking about it, or in the Feeding/gaining rooms. I understand that there are a lot of feeders that come in there and bug the hell out of all the women with comments worthy of a Neanderthal intellect, but guess what? Writing off everyone with a particular interest because of bad experiences with a majority is pretty damn lame in and of itself. And that's to say nothing of the male-bashing that goes on. It may be easy to write off the opposite sex because of lame individuals, but that makes you sexist. Goes both ways.
Just had to get that off my chest... I go to this chat room to talk with people that share an interest with me. It's an interest I can't share with people I know in my day to day life. I wonder how many people are driven off though, because they find there's more judgement that acceptance going around?
Anyway, might do a photo update soon, so those of you who are interested can see my "progress," if you can call it that yet, lol.
