It's that time of year again
That's right... it's going to be a Cajun Fryfest. TP will be bringing the turkey fryer and I'm just not ready to simply fry up one whole turkey. How about two turkeys, a pork butt, a london broil, and all the fish that Lucky and Keith can catch between last Sunday and the day of the party. And why stop there, we'll fry up some hushpuppies, 'tators, and whatever else we can think of to fried up. If I get the hankerin', I might even whip up some sweet batter, shove some twinkies on a stick, dip'm and fry those bad boys as well.
There will be pleny of non-fried stuff too. So far, it look like I've got people bringing: corn pudding, key lime pie, and other goodies. If you would like to bring somthing, just let me know and we'll put it on the list.
Otherwise, all you'll need to bring is your body, whatever you want to drink, a sensible attitude, and the willingness to have fun!
It's only a few weeks away and I'm ready for it to be here!
