(no subject)
ah.. its been a few days. I didn't do much last night.. Yeah, it was sort of a wasted Friday night, but I was out almost every day this week, so I took it easy. Tuesday I drove to Towson, MD. to see The Click Five and Ryan.. Wednesday I rode back to Towson, MD with Pepper's Ghost to go to the same venue where they were playing with Silvertide... Thursday I went to Abilene's to see The Union Dead...
So yeah, it was a fun filled week. I had to go grocery shopping today.. I'm really only shopping for myself now, considering everything that's been going on and all the bickering.. it's just easier. Yeah, $70 later! Geez.. But the problem is that I do eat considerably healthier now, especially since I'm buying only food that I'll eat. Some of those healthier options are slightly pricier than the regular options.. but in the end it'll be worht it, right? I was pretty stoked to throw my boca burger on the grill when I got back from the store.. only to find that someone had opened the bag of charcoals that I had bought a week or two before.. and that they weren't really wrapped up tight at all.. so when I went to light them... nothing. I tried using some lighter fluid but I got nothing.. . way to ruin my lunch, whoever didn't take care of the bag of charcoal. Boo. So I threw a boca spicy chicken patty in the toaster oven instead. Good shit.
Tonight I'm gonna see my buddy Steve Entrekin... who I haven't seen in a long while. He'll be bartending tonight at the infamous Chameleon Club in Lancaster. Tonight Aderbat is playing there, along with Townhall, who I haven't seen in about a year... so I'm anticipating a good, drunkened night. Yes, I'm sleeping at Steve's, who only lives two blocks from the Chameleon, so no worries for you people who warn me of the dangers of drunk driving. I'm well aware of them on my own : )
My friend Zack came out to see Pepper's Ghost and Silvertide on Wednesday in Towson.. I met Zack at Local H shows around here.. he's sorta like me, he'll drive a few hours for a show.. so he can hit up 3 or 4 on the same tour.. well, anyways.. his brother books at a club in Vegas. Zack's flying out there next week for the show.. and asked me to go. When I told him I couldn't afford it, he offers to pay for me. WHOA! Free trip to Vegas? Hell yes I'll go. Oh.. no I won't.. because that's the weekend I start my weekend class.. and since they only meet 4 classes, I'd be missing half of them. BOO, I can't go to Vegas to see Local H and for FREE. Balls. Oh well.. I can only blame myself.. I'm the one who wanted to go back to school : )
I'm gonna go finish my laundry. Chill out some more.. then get headed to Lancaster. Peace out, trout.
