Just me, Janeway, and Chakotay

I think there is a correlation between how many episodes of Voyager I watch and how many hours of sleep I have gotten--the less sleep, the more Voyager. It is a many-episode-night of Voyager ahead of me.

#1 son is going to neighboring town to the first high school football game he has watched as a fan since he was in 9th grade. Hubbie is off to ND for softball tournament, and I am left home alone. I might not even answer my telephone. After spending the last three days at workshops, I am in dire need of some "Tammy Time" which will consist of my TV, DVDs, and my computer. Any other human contact will just have to wait until tomorrow.

I spent the vast majority of my day, once again, working with the software of our buying club. I have installed said software on three different computers, with less than stellar performances on every computer. The program on my computer does less than what it did two months ago. Supposedly, I have a file that I can download to fix the problems with the program on my computer, but I have to un-install and re-install first. I am a little reluctant to do it on my computer. The last time I tried a data transfer using a floppy it didn't work. I'd hate to lose that information. So, with that in mind, I un-installed it on the desktop, with the idea that if I can get it to work on that computer first, I'll have a backup. Un-installing went well. Now I can't get the link on the website to download the software. Is this a test of my limited patience regarding computers? Because if it is, boy, it is a doozie of a test! So far, I am doing okay. I am frustrated, but I haven't thrown anything yet. *eyes ugly figurine* Hmm....

voyager, computers, star trek
