Because the summary:
"(Main Character Name) is not the only (super-duper type thing) in the world, there's Tyger. She's young, she's pretty, she's a complete asshole and surely (Main Character Name) cannot really be jealous of her.
When (Main Character's BFF) looks at her like she's the best thing since sliced bread, that's a whole other situation. Contains OFC."
REALLY makes me want to read this story. Not. Is the compulsion to write Mary Sue's a disease? It seems to be spreading.
Then there is another whole series of stories that could have been really, really awesome (a crossover between the fandom I'm currently reading and SG1) if there hadn't been an OFC that was so pervasive that her name was mentioned in some context in every. Other. Paragraph. Someone (everyone!) was either thinking of her or talking about her or talking to her constantly, even when she wasn't in the scene. I got about 3/4 into the first story in the series and, while the writing was good, the plot was good and the premise was great, the fic was unreadable because of the insertion into every single scene in the story of this character.
I. Fucking. Hate. Mary Sue's!
I complain a lot, don't I?
