Hello World
Um, hello? (tap,tap tap) Is this thing on? Oh! Hi. My name is Barb. I'm new to live journal. I probably won't post often but I'll try to be witty and entertaining when I do. I'm sure I will fail miserably. I have a rather boring RL. Work, home, work, home, work . . . well, you get the picture.
I used to have an exciting career as a comic book artist, filled with travel and interesting friends throughout all aspects of the entertainment industries but, like many things, all good things must come to an end. After a dozen years, RL conspired to take me away from that and here I am. I'm not complaining, however. (OK, maybe just a teensy bit) There are compensations to not being a freelancer. Like health care benefits and a 401K.
Anyhoo, Mag 7 is my main fandom (among others) so I followed a couple of M7 friends into LJ to keep up with them. Hope to make some more friends here. I'm working on a couple of M7 projects and I was posting Historical Tidbits to a couple of list as well. Will be picking that up again.
