First, I have to say your writing is just amazing. I can feel the emotion, and love the way you draw the background so you can just see this playing out.

I could picture Josiah standing there so full of ache, realizing it may all be up to God.

Then Vin and Chris looking at each other, Chris' confusion, Vin's mental anguish more powerful than the physical as he realizes it might be better if he died.... (oh, the pain - I literally had tears forming). Wake up Chris! Make him want to get better!

I was so glad Nathan finally arrived (though a bit miffed he put Mrs. McNally ahead of Vin! Buck should have knocked him out, and drug him in, lol). I felt like I was watching Nathan right along with Chris and Buck, just as anxious to know what Nathan was finding out from his examination.

It's so agonizing waiting (in that good angsty way), both for Vin to be okay and Chris to wake up and smell the coffee. I loved him slowly puzzling over things, putting it together. Course then, you made me wanna give Chris a head injury!!! How could he even think that!

I can't wait for the next scene. I messed up reading before work (I couldn't wait!). Now I have to come home without the joy of knowing a new segment will be waiting. You know, with a weekend coming and all, sure might be nice to have an extra segment thrown in. Not that I'm not very happy/grateful for one a day. Thanks a ton!

Thank you! And you are in luck. I plan to post thorugh the weekend. It's amazing the thoughts that flit through your head in a crisis. Things that later you feel utterly ashamed of, but it is human nature.

Ack! I didn't want it that way. I hope everything is okay. You're right, it is human nature to just react in a crisis.

Is there anything I can do to help? Pray, talk, try to find information?

Eh? I was talking about Chris and why such crazy things were going through his head. Everything is good here! But thanks for the thoughts!

Thank goodness! I just read that wrong. I thought something bad had happened and you were posting to avoid thinking about it. That's what I get for checking back when I should be in bed, lol.

So back to my initial response when I first read you were posting all weekend. Yay!!! Ty! Ty! Now off to read. Thanks!
