A Day of Gay
While I couldn't attend the anti-8 protests that were going on all over the country yesterday I did spend the evening having a gay old time. faeshale, potpourrifae, dmlaenker and I all watched Velvet Goldmine and fell madly in love with glitter again. After that evening full of sexy glam rockers I decided that we had to go forth and find a copy of the documentary The Cockettes. So we piled into the car headed to Dupont and hit up Lambda Rising who came through for us in all of 5 seconds with our desired film. Then we went to the Krispy Kreme and got hella huge amounts of donuts and watched proto-faeries dancing on acid.
It was glorious.
