It's been a while since I posted about studying Japanese. It's because I've been a total slacker and not really doing it. But it's mostly been because I've not had a goal or something in sight to work for. So I've been poking around the internet and I came across the
Japanese Language Proficiency Test. There are four levels with 1 being the hardest and 4 being the easiest. I think that if I continue diligently with my Rosetta Stone program, and I keep kicking myself in the ass, I could more than likely be able to pass the level 4 exam when it's offered at the end of the year.
The goal is partially to pass the exam, but also for the possibility of getting myself to the point where I could actually go over to Japan for Library related business. I've probably mentioned this before, but I just wanted to write it again to put the seed in my head once more.
So, this weekend I'll be on the language software.
Though visitors will be welcome.
