Brief Update
* Got my business and personal taxes done on Sunday evening and Monday morning respectively. I'm going to get a nice hefty refund too. I've been debating to spend it on either a trip abroad with JD or maybe get a laptop. Laptop might be more useful in the long run, but a nice long vacation in Europe would be delightful.
* Got my mom her check out in the overnight mail and deposited a chunk of change into the store account. Now I've just got to get Teddy's check to him and all will be well.
* Went up to Jennifer Convertibles and bought the fabulous couch and put in the order for the chair. The couch arrives next thursday the 26th and the chair in about 6-8 weeks. Awesome. I can't WAIT!
* Still got a hole in the ceiling in the dining room, but hoping that will get fixed mighty soon.
* Going to Ecumenicon to sell this weekend. I hope we sell everything we have, because that would make our lives so much easier.
* I'm on the bookmobile today and with this crazy ass wind it's like we're at sea.
* I finished reading/listening to Zora Neale Hurston's "Their eyes were watching God" and WOW that was an excellent book. I'll have a review of it up soon. I've started reading "Do what thou wilt: a life of Aleister Crowley" by Lawrence Sutin. jessicamelusine gifted me with it a long while ago and I'm just now getting round to it.
* We've presold 3 Harry Potter books. Which means that we've got 17 left. If you want to get your copy from us go buy it now, because we're only going to have this one lot. If you want me to personally deliver the book to you or if you want to pick it up from my house at midnight on Friday July 20th we can run your card through our virtual terminal and not charge you shipping. Just call me!
