Marathon
Yesterday I spent all day just watching Doctor Who at home. Ran through the entirety of Season 2, and saw the scenes that were cut from the three episodes I hadn't watched on DVD since I bought it: "The Idiot's Lantern," "Love and Monsters" and "Fear Her."
Also, I noticed a detail, something you wouldn't think twice about unless you've been paying attention to current Doctor Who news. In "The Christmas Invasion" right after you come back from the main credits you see Rose sitting on the bed with the Doctor asleep. Jackie comes in with a stethoscope and says, "Tina at the cleaners has a lodger, a medical student. She was asleep so I just took it" and hands the stethoscope to Rose who then listens to the Doctor's hearts. The new companion, played by Freema Agyeman is a medical student named Martha Jones. Coincidence? Probably not. I called the podshock people about it. We'll see...
Also I promised reviews of the Five Doctors and the 1996 TV Movie. I'll be doing that soon.
