Oooooooh, I love this! Poor Neal does not deal well at all with being helpless when someone's hurt, and I love him freaking out and trying to comfort Peter and hold it together at the same time.

And yay! for Diana saving the day, and bringing coffee. And El, convincing him to stay. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Thank you so much! :) I do really like writing Neal in situations where he's really not comfortable/sure what to do. But he does try his best!

OMG, I love this! YAY for sick!Peter (much as I adore sick!Neal) and I love how Neal took care of him while mentally flailing around.

poor peter. it's good to see how neal deals with this - he's not used to being the one in control, very much out of his element. i can't imagine not panicking in this helpless situation.

Thank you very much! Neal is a really fun character to write being out of his element - I think he's not nearly as good at taking things in his stride as Peter is.

Ooh, that was intense (and quite a bit scary, okay)! I don't know for whom I felt most - poisoned! Peter or Neal freaking out over Peter dying on him. And the ending at the hospital was very nice too. Great job!

Thank you very much! It was really fun writing both of them here. And I normally have a massive block about writing hospital scenes (I've got a load of fics on my computer where I've written all the hurt and then just stopped), so I'm especially glad you liked that bit :)
