Awwww~! <3 Lovely episode tag, and I think it gets to the heart of what I loved about the episode and about them: that even if there are still unresolved issues between them (and may be for a while), the love and affection is still there -- they love each other, and worry about each other, and Neal isn't making his sacrifice out of blind guilt, but to protect people who love him.

Thank you! :) And I'm so glad those things worked in this fic -- it was quite hard to write this, actually, being really quite constrained by canon and by not knowing what will happen next week (which did make it interesting!). But yeah, I feel that one of the key things of the show is that the characters really do love each other, and know each other, and will forgive each other :)
